Whisk flour, soda, powder and salt together.
Place 1 1/2 cups sugar and cream cheese in large
bowl. Pour warm butter over mixture and whisk to
combine. Whisk in oil. Add egg, milk and
vanilla; continue to whisk until smooth. Add the
flour mixture and mix with rubber spatula until
soft dough forms.
Form dough into balls and roll in leftover sugar
to coat evenly. Place balls on cookie sheet and
press flat with the bottom of a drinking glass.
Sprinkle tops with more sugar. Bake 11-13
minutes, until edges are set and just beginning to
brown. Cool 5 minutes.
