     Mexican Pork Chops

Ingredients
6 pork chops
1 cup uncooked rice - not instant
1 can tomato sauce (8oz)
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1 tsp salt
1/2 pkg taco seasoning
2 cups water
1 bell pepper cut into 1/2 inch rings
 

Instructions
Arrange pork chops in 9x13 pan and add salt. Sprinkle uncooked rice around chops. In bowl, comine taco seasoning mix, tomato sauce and water and pour over the chops and rice. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degreees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven 10 minutes before done. Sprinkly with cheese and arrange green pepper slices on top. Cover ad bake another 10 minutes.
Can substitue Chicken Brasts for Pork chops and it is delicious.
