     Sausage Chowder

Ingredients
1 lbs sausage browned and crumbled
4 cups chicken broth
2 cans diced tomatoes
3 cans kidney beans
1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 bay leaves
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp caraway seed
 
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 cups diced potatoes
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp thyme

Instructions
In a LARGE pot, combine all ingredients except the peppers and potatoes. Simmer one hour then add the potatoes and green peppers and simmer for 20 minutes. Can add more chicken broth to make more soupy.
