Instructions
Soak chickpeas or use canned chickpeas. If using chickpeas which are not canned, soak them overnight and boil in a cooker for a one whistle.
In a vessel season mustard, crushed garlic, curry leaves. Add pinch of turmeric, chilly powder, jeera (cumin) powder and fry a little.
Add tomatoes and some coconut.
Add the chickpeas with little water and cook on slow fire for about 5 mins or so.
