1 C CRISCO
1 C SUGAR
4 EGGS
2 t ANISE EXTRACT
4 C FLOUR
2 t BAKING POWDER
 

Instructions
CREAM CRISCO AND SUGAR. ADD EGGS AND ANISE. MIX FLOUR, BAKING POWDER ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE;
KNEAD AND DIVIDE IN 5. ROLL EACH INTO LOG 1 INCH HIGH AND 3 INCH LONG. BRUSH WITH EGG AND SPRINKLE WITH CANDIES.
BAAKE ON GREASED SHEET 350 FOR 15-20 MIN.
COOL SLIGHTLY CUT INTO SLICES AND PLACE CUT SIDE DOWN ON SHEET COOK 10 MIN TURN COOK ANOTHER 10 MIN
