     BETTY NUT ROLL

12 C FLOUR
1 POUND CRISCO
2 C SUGAR
4 EGG YOLKS
2 EGGS
2 t SUGAR
2 T MILK
1/4 C WARM WATER
1 LARGE CAKE YEAST
 
1 QUART MILK
1/2 QUART MILK
4 POUND GROUND NUTS
4 BEATEN EGG WHITES
HONEY

Instructions
MIX FLOUR,CRISCO AND 2 C SUGAR. SET ASIDE
DISSOLVE YEAST IN WATER ADD 2 t SUGAR AND 2 t MILK. ADD EGG YOLK AND 2 EGGS. SCALD 1 QUART MILK COOL TILL WARM. ADD TO EGG MIXTURE. THEN ADD ALL DRY INGREDIENTS. FORM SMOOTH DOUGH
RISE 2 HOURS. IDVIDE INTO 12 BALLS.RISE 1/2 HOUR TILL DOUBLE. ROLL EACH BALL OUT SPREAD WITH THIN LAYER HONEY. SPRINKLE WITH FILLING COVERING COMPLETELY. BAKE 350 25-30 MIN. LOOSEN FROM PAN .GO OVER EACH ROLL WITH CRISCO WHILE HOT.
FILLING- MIX 1/2 QT MILK, GROUND NUTS, SUGAR AND BEATEN EGG WHITES.
