2 SMALL CAKES YEAST
1/4 C WARM WATER
4 t SUGAR
1 PINT SWEET CREAM OR HALF AND HALF
4 EGGS
2 POUND GROUND NUTS
 
3-4 C SUGAR
1/3 C SCALDED MILK

Instructions
MIS FLOUR AND SALT CUT IN BUTTER WITH PASTRY BLENDER. MIX YEAST AND WATER IN SMALL BOWL ADD 4 t SUGAR AND LET FOAM. WHEN IT FOAMS ADD TO FLOUR THEN ADD SWEEET CREAM AND 4 BEATGEN EGG YOLKS. WHITH HANDS FORM DOUGH AND REFG OVERNITHT REMOVE 1 HOUR BEFORE MAKING
DIVIDE IN 8 ROLL AS THIN AS POSSIBLE. SPREAD WITH FILLING PUT TQO ON SHEET. BRUSH WITH I BEATEN EGG WITH A LITTLE MILK. BAKE 350 FOR 30-35 MIN TILL BROWN.
FILLING- MIX NUTS WITH 3-4 C SUGAR AS DESIRED AND ADD 1/4-1/3 C SCALDED MILK TO MAKE SPREADABLE
