1 C BUTTER
4 C SUGAR
4 t GRATED ORAND RIND
4 t BAKING POWDER
12 EGGS
8 C FLOUR
2 2/3 C CHOC CHIPS
2 2/3 C CHOPPED NUTS
4 EGGS
 
1 C SUGAR

Instructions
BEAT BUTTER AND SUGAR. ADD ORANJE RIND AND BAKING POWDER. BEAT IN EGGS. BEAT IN FLOUR AT LOW SPEED JUST TILL BLENDED. STIR IN CHIPS AND NUTS. DOUGH WILL BE STICKY
DIVIDE IN 16 ROLL INTO LOGS, BEAT EGG BRUSH ON AND SPRINKLE VERY HEAVY WITH SUGAR.
BAKE 350 20-25 MIN TILL GOLDEN, COOL 5 MIN LOOSEN WITH SPATULA PUT ON BOARD CUT INTO 1/2 SLICES. PLACE UPRIGHT ON PAN BAKE 15 -17 MIN,.....WILL CRISP MORE AS THEY COOL.
