     Chicken Liver Pate

Ingredients
500 g chicken livers ( 2 x 250 g packets )
6 rashers bacon
2 cloves garlic
2 medium-sized onions
60 ml margarine( dry must
5 ml mixed herbs
5 ml chopped parsley
10 ml ( 2 t ) dry mustard
30 ml ( 2 T ) Worcestershire sauce
 
30 ml ( 2 T ) brandy or dry sherry
Salt to taste
2,5 ml ( ½ t ) Tabasco sauce
30 ml ( 2 T ) melted butter

Instructions
Finely chop the livers, onions, garlic and bacon. Sauté in the heated margarine. Add the remaining ingredients, except the melted butter, and purée the mixture when cooked through Pour into bowls and cover with melted butter. Store in the fridge or freezer until required
