Jelly slice with oreos base
Base
1 and half packets oreos biscuits, crushed
170 g butter, melted
Lemon filling
1 x 400 g tin sweetened condensed milk
Juice of 2 lemons
3 level teaspoons gelatine
¼ cup boiling water
Jelly topping
1 packet jelly
Water
Method
1. Base- Mix finely crushed oreo biscuits with
melted butter.
2. Press firmly into a tin.
3. Lemon filling- In a medium bowl, blend
condensed milk, lemon juice and gelatine
(dissolved in the boiling water).
4. Spread over base and refrigerate until set.
5. Make up jelly as directed on packet, cool and
pour over the slice.
6. Chill until set. Cut into squares to serve.
