     Finger Rolls

Ingredients
2 cups scalded milk
2 Tablespoons sugar
4 Tablespoons butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 cake yeast
1/4 cup warm water
 

Instructions
Add butter and sugar to the hot milk. When melted and lukewarm, add yeast, dissolved in water. Stir in flour gradually and form into soft dough. Let rise until double, about 1 hour. Roll out 1/3 inch thick and make into finger rolls. let rise 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
