     Kansas City Style Polynesian BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
1 c prepared ketchup
1/4 c pineapple juice
1/4 c tamari/soy sauce
1/4 c cider vinegar
1/8 c brown sugar
2 tsp. Chinese five spice powder
2 tsp. roasted granulated garlic
1/2 tsp. cayenne
 
1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pot and bring to boil over medium heat, stirring regularly.
Reduce heat to low and continue to simmer, uncovered for 20 - 25 min. Sauce should reduce by 1/3 when complete.
Serving Suggestions
Sauce may be kept in a tightly sealed container in refrigerator for several weeks.
