In a large mixing bowl dissolve the yeast in warm water. When fully
dissolved add the milk, butter & salt. Beat until smooth. Gradually
add flour to form a soft dough. turn onto a floured surface & knead 6
to 8 minutes. Place the dough ball in a greased bowl, cover with a
clean towel & let it rise for 30 minutes. Then, turn onto a lightly
floured surface and punch it down. Dive the dough into about 30
pieces. Roll each into a 4 inch circle. Combine the bacon & onion.
Place a heaping spoonful on ONE side of the circle. FOLD the dough
carefully over the filling. Press down the edges and crimp around the
edges with a fork to seal. Place 3 inches apart on a baking sheet &
again, cover with a clean towel for an additional 10 minutes. Brush
each semi circle with egg wash. Bake @ 425 degrees for 15 minutes or
until they are golden brown.
