1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips
chopped pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350. Line a jelly-roll pan with foil and spray with Pam. Cover the bottom with one layer of saltine crackers. Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan; boil for 3-4 minutes or until it's caramel-like. Pour over the crackers. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes or until bubbly.
Remove from the oven and pour the bag of chocolate chips over the top evenly. Let chips melt and spread over the top. If you add the pecans, press them down slightly after sprinkling on top. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight, then break into pieces. Will last for 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
