     ROOT BEER BUNDT CAKE

1 1/4 C. FLOUR
1 C COCOA POWDER, PLUS MORE FOR FLOURING
PINCH OF SALT
3/4 C. ROOT BEER
2 STICKS UNSALTED BUTTER
1 1/4 SUGAR, DIVIDED
1 TSP VANILLA
4 EGGS, SEPARATED
 
ROOT BEER GLAZE
2 C. POWDERED SUGAR
3 TB. ROOT BEER
1/4 TSP. GROUND CLOVES

Instructions
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F GREASE AND COCOA POWDER A BUNDT PAN. COMBINE FLOUR, COCOA POWDER,SALT. CREAM TOGETHER BUTTER, 1 C. SUGAR UNTIL FLUFFY, ADD VANILLA AND EGG YOLKS. WHIP EGG WHIES WITH REMAINING SUGAR UNTIL STIFF PEAKS FORM. SET ASIDE. ADD 1/3 FLOUR MIXTURE TO CREAMED BUTTER MIXTURE, ALTERNATING WITH THE ROOT BEER.. CONTINUE UNTIL, ALL IS COMBINED,ENDING WITH THE ROOT BEER. GENTLY FOLD IN EGG WHITES, POUR INTO BUNDT PAN. BAKE FOR 45-50 MIN. GLAZE- WHIP ALL TOGETHER, DRIZZLE ON CAKE.
