     Capsicum with cappers sauce (Bzar ahdar biz-zalza)

Ingredients
About 4 medium green capsicums
1 can polpa
1 tablespoon tomatoes paste
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Chopped mint
1/2 cup capers
1 medium onion
 
1 vegetable cube
Olive oil or any oil
Pepper
400ml cold water

Instructions
Grill capsicum so you can take the skin, or else when they are fresh no need, still will come soft. Leave to cool and slice them in stripes. Place them in a pan, slice the onion and add it to the pan. Pour water, the cube and a little oil to the pan and cook. Every now and then stir the onion and the capsicum so they will become soft. Cook on medium heat, add the poppa, capers, tomatoes paste, cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped mint, sugar and pepper. Let it simmer for a while until you'll see that capsicum and onion are very soft to eat --) You can serve it with meat, fish, cold salad and much much more!
