     Belgian Waffles

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 large eggs
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups milk
 

Instructions
In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, yeast and salt to blend.
In a medium sauce pan, heat milk and butter to 120-130 degrees. (Butter may not melt all the way.) Add eggs and whisk.
Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, mixing until large lumps are moistened.
Cover and let rise in a warm, draft-free place 1 hour or until light and bubbly. (Or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.) Pour onto hot, greased waffle maker and cook as indicated by the waffle makers instructions.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with warm syrup, whipped cream, chocolate chips, nutella, fresh berries, caramel sauce, walnuts, bananas...the options are endless!
