Mix together flour, butter, salt, and
sufficient water to make a pliable dough.Leave
to set for 1/2 hour. Roll out pastry and cut
into 6 rounds using 17cm small plate. Combine
filling ingredients and place a little in the
center of each round pastry. Damp pastry edges
and press well together. Crimp edges. Place on
a greased baking tray, brush with beaten egg or
milk and bake for 30 minutes or till golden
brown at 200c. From this pastry recipe I have made 6
Turnovers - 20cm ricotta tart. Enjoy --)
