Ingredients
1 Tbls Vegetable Oil
2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Cup Coarsely Chopped Onions
4 Garlic Cloves, minced
16 oz Can Tomato Sauce
3 16 oz Cans Diced Tomatoes
1/3 Cup Chili Powder
1 1/2 tsp Salt
2 16 oz Cans of Red Kidney Beans
 

Instructions
Heat the oil in a 5 quart Dutch oven over medium high heat. Add the ground beef, onions and garlic and cook until the beef is brown and the onions are tender, stirring frequently. About 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes and their liquid, tomato sauce, chili powder and salt- heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low- cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Stir in beans and their liquid and heat through.
Serving Suggestions
Shredded Cheese, Fritos, Minced Onions, Hot Sauce to garnish. Serve with Cornbread.
