     Spicy beef soup

Ingredients
1 - 1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 cups carrots- sliced
1/2 cup celery- sliced
2 cups corn
1 tbsp garlic
2 cups green beans
1 cup onion, diced
2 large potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup hot and sweet jalapeños
 
1 (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cup beef broth or stock
2 dashes hot sauce (optional)
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cajun seasoning
1 tbsp oil
3 (11.5 oz) cans of original or spicy v 8 tomato juice

Instructions
In the bottom of a Dutch oven or other heavy pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion, peppers and celery; cook and stir until softened, about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and beef, cook until meat is browned, drain excess liquid. Sprinkle meat with flour, cook 3 minutes.
Add the beef stock, v8, and diced tomatoes. Stir in carrots, tomatoes, corn and green beans. Add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and seasonings to taste. Stir and cover over medium to medium-low heat for 1 1/2-2hours. Stir occasionally.
Serve as soup or over rice.
