Ingredients
3 Cups Oats
6 Tbls Canola Oil
6 Tlbs Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Salt
Nuts and Spices
Chopped Dried Fruit
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Mix the oats with the honey, oil and salt. Stir well. Add your favorite nuts and spices. Pour into a 10 inch cake pan and shake pan to distribute evenly.
Bake, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 40 minutes. Cool completely and then toss with chopped fruit.
APPLE PIE - Before baking, add pecans and cinnamon. After baking, add dried apples. ALOHA - Before baking, add macadamia nuts. After baking add dried pineapple. MONKEY BUSINESS - Before baking, add coconut and cocoa powder. After baking, add dried banana chips.
Serving Suggestions
For gift giving, store in resealable jars and add a label.
