     Peter's Teriyaki Marinade

Ingredients
1/2 c soy sauce
1/3 c dry sherry
1/4 c vegetable oil
1/4 c sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp grated fresh gingeroot or 1 tsp ground ginger
 

Instructions
Mix ingredients. Cover and let stand 1 hour to let flavors blend. If not used immediately, cover tightly and refrigerate up to 7 days. Let meat or chicken marinade 1-4 hours before cooking.
