First wash and remove the seeds of the pumpkin(s)
and cut it into cubes. Do the same with the
potatoes, carrots and onions.
Heat the butter in a big pot. Add the carrots
and onions in the pot. Now you can also add the
potatoes and pumpkins. Add the vegetable broth
in the pot to deglaze the vegetables.
Preferably you do the pepper and leaves of
laurels in a spice ball and hang it into the
soup. Now cover up the soup and boil it 20 min
on medium heat.
Remove half of the vegetables in the soup and
place it aside. Remove the spice ball too. Now
add cream into the soup and puree it. You can
do the vegetables back in the pot. Add salt
into the soup. At last boil the soup again and
mix the herbs in it.
