Place croutons in 13X9 pan. Top with cheese and mushrooms. Brown sausage and onion. Drain and spread over cheese and mushroom mixture. Beat eggs with 2 c milk and seasonings. Pour over sausage. Cover and refrigerate overnight. (may be frozen at this point) Mix soup and 1/2 c milk and spread on top before you bake. Bake and 325 degrees for 60 minutes.
