In a small bowl, combine the wafer crumbs, 1/2 c nuts and butter. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool completely. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/2 c sugar until smooth. Add chocolate and vanilla, mix well. Stir in remaining nuts. In another mixing bowl, beat cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add remaining sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in chocolate mixture. Spoon into crust. Cover and freeze for several hours or overnight(can be frozen longer) Remove from freezer 1 hour before serving.
