500. Wash and dry the turkey inside and out. Cut the apple
and celery into large pieces and place inside the turkey. Place
in roasting pan and cover with salt, pepper, garlic powder and
berries or gin. Lay the bacon pieces over the breast and bake
for 30 minutes. Reduce to 400 and remove bacon slices to
bottom of pan. Pour in wine and stock and bake turkey for 90
minutes. Test for doneness.
