Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Coat your baking dish with non stick spray.
I used a broil pan so the grease would not puddle up.
Cut the block of cheese into little chunky squares.
Working one at a time, take the tater tot and cheese square in a piece of bacon.
Dredge each tater tot in the brown sugar and press to coat.
Place the tater tots, seam down onto the cooking sheet. Place in the oven and cook for about 20-25 min. If you want the bacon a little more crispy you can cook them longer, just keep in mind that the cheese may be a little more melted.
