     Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients
smoked bacon
2 cans water chestnuts
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup ketchup
red pepper flakes
wooden toothpicks (soaked in water)
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut each bacon strip in half, wrap around a water chestnut, and secure with a toothpick. Place in a baking dish. Bake for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, combine sugar, mayo, ketchup, red pepper flakes, and worcestershire sauce in a bowl. After 20 minutes, remove the wrapped water chestnuts from oven and brush generously with the mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until bacon is crispy. Serve immediately.
