     Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
1-2 lb. beef sirloin steak, 1 inch thick (or top round or tip steak)
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced (or 4 oz. can, drained)
1 medium onion, sliced
1 T oil
1 cube or tsp beef bouillon
1/2 c. hot water
1/4 tsp salt
2 T flour
1/2 c. water
 
1/2-1 c. sour cream

Instructions
Slice beef into thin, bite-sized strips. In large skillet, cook steak, mushrooms, & onions in hot oil until golden brown. Add bouillon, 1/2 c. hot water & salt. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until tender. Combine flour and 1/2 c water and stir into meat mixture. Stir in sour cream and heat. Do not boil. Serve over rice or noodles.
