In small bowl cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg & extract. Combine flour & salt, gradually add to creamed mixture. Using cookie press fitted w/ disk of your choice, press cookies 1 in apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Sprinkle w/ colored sugar. Bake 400 6 min.
