     Potato Potage

Ingredients
2 tablespoons instant minced onions or 1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup butter
3 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups boiling water
1 cup mashed potato flakes
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup heavy cream
2 drops Louisiana hot sauce
 

Instructions
Sute onions in butter until golden brown in saucepan. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add to onions. Cover and cook 15 minutes. Press through a strainer (optional). Add Potato flakes, salt and garlic salt to liquid, stirring lightly with a fork. Add cream and hot sauce; heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with Shredded Cheddar Cheese on tog and hot french bread
