     AUSTRIAN HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE

Ingredients
16 oz. uncooked wide egg noodles
1 stick butter (real butter)
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. dairy sour cream
16 - 24 oz. diced, fully cooked smoked ham.
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. dry bread crumbs
Salt to taste
 

Instructions
Drop noodles into 6 cups boiling salted water. Cook, stirring constantly 3 minutes. Cover and remove from heat, let stand 10 minutes; drain.
Stir butter into noodles. Stir eggs into sour cream. Stir egg mixture, ham and pepper into noodles.
Pour noodle mixture into casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs evenly over top of casserole. Bake uncovered in 350 degrees 40-45 minutes.
