     French Onion Soup

Ingredients
1 bag seasoned croutons or loaf of french bread
1 cup dry red wine
2 beef broth cans 14 1/2 ounces
2 large sweet onions
4 thick slices swiss cheese
 

Instructions
In a deep skillet heavy2 tablespoons Olive oil. Add onions and cook until soft and translucent. Add wine bring to boil. Simmer 10 minutes season with salt and pepper.
Preheat broiler. Divide soup amoung 4 oven proof bowls. Top each with croutons and cheese. Set bowls on baking sheet and cook until cheese is golden and bubbly. About1 minute.
