     French Toast Delight

Ingredients
1 Day old loaf of Crusty Italian or French Bread
2 C Half and Half or Milk
2 Tablespoons Vanilla extract
1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Cinnamon Powder
4 Egg yolks
Butter for frying
Maple Syrup (OPTIONAL)
Powdered Sugar (OPTIONAL)
 

Instructions
In a bowl mix everything together except the bread and butter. Cut bread into 1/2 inch slices and dredge through mixture, allow bread to soak up milk mixture.
On medium/high heat melt butter in skillet, when butter is frothy and bubbling begin frying the bread. Leave on side one for approx 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, flip and fry until golden brown. French toast is done when it is golden brown on both sides.
You may top with maple syrup or butter and powdered sugar.
