Cream butter and sugar,beat in lightly whisked eggs with a little flour. Add the essence. Toss the cherries in some of the flour and add them to the mixture with the candied tangerine with the last of the flour. Place mixture in a greased baking tin and decorate with the flaked almonds. Bake in a moderate oven 180c for about 1 1/2 hour or when you test it with a kebab stick and will come out clean. Enjoy --)
