Ingredients
4 teaspoon(s) - sugar optional
8 - corn cobs husks and silks removed
4 tablespoon(s) - butter divided
1 pinch - salt and pepper to taste
 

Instructions
• Bring 4 qts. of water (with the sugar if desired) to a boil in a a large pot. • Add the corn, return to a boil, and cook until tender, about 6 minutes. • Remove the corn from the water using tongs, allowing any excess water to drip back into the pot. • Serve with butter, salt and pepper.
