     Caramel Frosting

Ingredients
2 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter
5 Tbsp light cream (didn't have that so I used 1% milk)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
 

Instructions
In heavy saucepan combine brown sugar, butter and cream. Over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil gently for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add vanilla and baking powder. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, 5 minutes. Immediately spread onto cooled cake.
Serving Suggestions
Thick frosting on a 9 x 13 cake. Should be enough for two layer cake.
