     Old Fashioned Applesauce Spice Cake

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 pkg Duncan Hines Signature Spice Cake Mix
3 large eggs
1 (21 oz) can of Duncan Hines Comstock More Fruit Apple Filling
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. chopped nuts
1 container Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Classic Vanilla Frosting
1/2 t. ground cinnamon

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13x9-inch pan. Chop the apple filling into small pieces.
Combine cake mix, eggs and oil in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Stir in chopped fruit and nuts. Pour in bake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. NOTE-Invert onto cooling rack. Turn right-side up. Cool completely. NOTE- Inverting cake can be eliminated however I found if you don't cake likes to sink in middle due to heaviness of fruit.
For frosting - combine frosting and cinnamon. Stir until blended. Spread over cooled cake.
