Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None
Servings   4-6
Preptime   30 min

Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Optional- vanilla ice cream, caramel or butterscotch sauce

Instructions
Add butter to a medium sauce pan. Completely melt over medium heat, then continue to stir over medium heat 4-6 minutes longer until butter reaches a deep golden brown. Add brown sugar, vanilla, and egg to sauce pan and whisk until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Add ingredients from saucepan and stir until combined. Spread batter in a in a 9 inch cast iron skillet or 2 6 inch cast iron skillets. You can use other sizes but only fill halfway so it doesn't spill over when it rises. Sprinkle white chocolate chips over batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out mostly clean. You may have to increase baking time for a larger skillet. Allow to cool slightly and top with optional toppings.
