     Hoagie Dip

Ingredients
1 medium onion
2 pepperoncini peppers, thinly sliced
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
1 large tomato, diced
1/4 lb. Genoa Salami, chopped
1/4 lb. ham, chopped
1/4 lb. prosciutto, chopped
1/4 lb. roast deli turkey, chopped
1 C. mayonnaise
 
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 t. dried oregano
3 t. dried basil
1/2 t. red pepper flakes
6-8 inch round loaf Italian bread
8 hoagie rolls, sliced
1/4 lb. Provolone Cheese

Instructions
Combine the chopped vegetables, meats and cheese in a large mixing bowl, set aside.
In another bowl, mix together mayonnaise, olive oil, oregano, basil and red pepper flakes until combined.
Pour dressing over vegetable and meat mixture, stir until evenly coated. Refrigerate until ready to fill bread bowl.
Carve out center of bread, cut the scaps into bite-size pieces. Spoon dip into center of bread bowl. Serve with sliced hoagie rolls and left over bread.
