     Never-fail chocolate cake

Servings   9 x 13 cake
Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup cocoa
1 cup shortening
3 cups flour
1 cup sour milk (buttermilk)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
 
1 cup boiling water/coffee
Instructions
Place all ingredients into mixing bowl in the order given without mixing.
Add boiling water/coffee
Stir thoroughly, pour into greased pan
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes Top with chocolate ganache (heavy cream heated and poured over dark chocolate chips)
