     Stewed Tomatoes (Crock pot)

Ingredients
6-8 ripe tomatoes
2 tbsp margarine
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 tbsp sugar
1 small bay leaf
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
 

Instructions
Boil water. Core tomatoes and add to boiling water for 15-20 mins then add to ice water to cool quickly. Peel tomatoes
Cut tomatoes into wedges. Combine all ingredients in crock pot
Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours. Remove bay leaf
