Boil the Gnocchi until it is almost done. About a minute under done should be soft but not falling apart. While Gnocchi is cooking, add sausage to cast iron skillet and sautee until cooked through (do not used ground sausage, sliced.
Remove the sausage from the pan and add the garlic, cook till translucent. Then add the Cherry tomatoes (sliced in half) to the pan, when they begin to soften add 2 cups of spinach and cook until the spinach is half its size.
Add Back the Gnocchi and Sausage. Mix everything in the pan together well. Then cover with foil and turn the heat off. Leave for about 5 minutes and then serve.
