     Navajo Fry Bread

Ingredients
3 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 TBsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup water
 

Instructions
Heat about 1/2 inch of oil to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients. Add liquid. Mix until dough pulls from the sides of the bowl. Add flour if too sticky. Knead, form small balls of dough. Flatten each ball into a circle about 6 inches in circumference and fry until golden brown.
