     Lasagna

Ingredients
1 package lasagna noodles
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cans tomato sauce
1 pkg mozzarella cheese, grated
1 cup cottage cheese
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 pint sour cream
1 onion, chopped
 
1 pkg sharp cheddar cheese, grated
For top- Grated cheese of your choice

Instructions
NOTE- This recipe is an approximation of what I use. You can add jack cheese or combination package of cheese. As you know, I am not good at measuring, I cook by sight. Brown ground beef with onions and garlic. Add tomato sauce, simmer briefly, set aside. Combine cheeses cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream in a large bowl. Add the ground beef, tomato sauce mixture and mix well. Layer lasagna noodles in a large baking pan, then place a layer of meat and cheese mixture. Alternate layers until you use up all your meat mix. On top of last layer of meat place grated cheese of your choice. Put in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until heated through and cheese on top is melted. Let sit for a few minutes before serving so cheeses can firm up a bit.
