Shred or grind all the vegetables together. Place in large
container and sprinkle with the salt. Stir and let stand in a cool
place overnight. Next day, Rinse and drain well.
Combine sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and turmeric and bring to a
boil in a pot large enough to hold liquid and vegetables. Add
vegetables to liquid mixture after the sugar has dissolved. Stir
well and place in jars. Seal jars process in boiling water bath
for 10 minutes.
