     Maple Syrup French Toast Pudding

Ingredients
8 cups French Toast bread (slice bread), cut into cubes
2 cups milk
4 tblspoons melted butter
3 eggs slightly beaten
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tblspoon sugar
 
Other ingredients (optional)
Strawberry jam to add on top
Coconut or any other nuts if you like
Some icing sugar to sprinkle on top

Instructions
Place bread cubes into a baking dish, put aside. Whisk together milk, butter, eggs, maple syrup ,vanilla essence, cinnamon, sugar and salt. Pour over bread and gently just stir to combined. Let set for 5-10 minutes, to let the milk mixture to soak in. Sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake on 180c for 35-40 minutes or till golden brown. Before get it out of oven, 10 minutes before, get it out and add some jam and coconut on top and put it back in the oven. Serve hot, sprinkle some icing sugar. If you have left after serving, you can warm it again in microwave. Enjoy! Taste so good on a cold day with a cup of tea. --)
