Cook onion in oil until tender; remove from skillet and set aside. Cut
steak into thin strips. Brown steak in same skillet seasoning with
salt and pepper.
Add the 1 1/2 c. malt liquor and Worcestershire. Cover and cook over
low heat until tender, about 45 minutes.
Combine flour, paprika, and remaining malt liquor or water; stir into
skillet along with not drained mushrooms. Cook and stir until mixture
thickens and bubbles. Return onion to skillet stirring constantly until heated through(do not boil).
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve over hot noodles (slightly
butter) with a dollop of sour cream.
