     Broiled Grapefruit with Ginger and Maple Cream

Ingredients
2 large ruby red grapefruit, halved
1/4 cup turbinado sugar
2 teaspoons finely chopped crystallized ginger
3 tablespoons heavy cream
1/3 cup plain 2% reduced-fat Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
 

Instructions
1. Preheat broiler to high. 2. Place grapefruit halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Sprinkle evenly with sugar and ginger. Broil 8 minutes or until grapefruit begins to char. 3. Place cream in a chilled medium bowl; beat with a whisk until slightly thickened. Add yogurt, syrup, and vanilla to bowl; beat with a whisk until fluffy. Top grapefruit halves with cream mixture.
