Grind 1-3/4 cup wheat. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs then milk. Add whole wheat flour, together with salt, nutmeg, baking powder, cloves and cinnamon. Blend well. Add oats, nuts, raisins and chocolate chips - blend only to mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
